La Marta i el virus: La investigació ultrarara
This is a point and click browser game developed in collaboration with The government of Catalonia (La generalitat de Catalunya).
The project was divided in 2 stages, during the first stage, a contest was organized around designing a videogame to promote awareness of women working in science.
The contest participants were several schools around Catalonia, each one of them designed a different videogame with the winner being the 3rd grader class (8-9 years old) of the Rellinars School.
Their basic game design document was then handed to our development team, which proceeded to redesign incorrect elements of the game and began working on the creation of the videogame itself.
The team was composed of 3 artists, 1 musician 1 programmer and me, i worked as both a team leader and a programmer.
As the main programmer i took care of creating the interaction and movement and interaction system alongside the implementation of the game's art and level progression.
